Peter and Sylvia are certified NLP coaches who have a passionate interest in how we can learn to access more of our tremendous untapped potential. They share a particular interest in ‘helping the helpers’ – working with fellow professionals and those in other fields to improve health, balance and effectiveness in both their professional and personal lives.

Peter Silvien
Peter Silvien is a respected coach and psychotherapist who began working in the field of professional and personal development in 1993. His clients include chief executives, university lecturers, business managers, medical practitioners, teachers and students, as well as couples and families evaluating and rebalancing their relationships.

His work in coaching has evolved from a background in information systems, communication and learning, and builds on a lifelong fascination with human potential. He is gifted at seeing to the heart of complex situations and brings clarity and understanding through insightful questions and his relaxed, perceptive style.

Peter has also worked professionally with deaf people for over 20 years using British Sign Language (BSL) in both interpreting and education at high academic levels. He continues to contribute to improved mental health services for deaf people through collaboration with a number of Primary Care Trusts in the Midlands.

Dr Sylvia Chudley
Dr Sylvia Chudley is a committed general practitioner and has been a coach since 2005.

During ten years as a medical education advisor she has helped hundreds of doctors improve their skills in communication and teaching. Her work in general practice has also deepened her understanding of how, in the face of adversity, people still have the capacity to change their lives dramatically.

Consequently, Sylvia has determined to combine her experience in medicine, education and professional development to benefit a wider range of people. In addition to coaching those in transition and continuing to teach and lecture on coaching and communication, she is also a professional mentor to doctors experiencing difficulties in their careers.
