Symptoms of stress include difficulty in sleeping, constant tiredness, an inability to “switch off” after work, irritability, mood swings, a lack of concentration and excessive worrying about small things. Frequently such feelings are temporary and life quickly gets back to normal. However, when they persist for longer than a few weeks it is worth considering outside help.
